About the Course Homepage

Brightspace courses have a consistent look for easy navigation. Each ‘Course Home‘ contains:

The minibar containing the course selector, messages alerts, subscriptions alerts, and updates alerts
A personal menu to change account settings and notifications
A blue navbar to scroll to different tools in Brightspace
Expandable widgets (items) that display important course information (Activity Feed, Announcements, Visual Table of Contents, etc.)

About the Centre

The Centre for Teaching and Learning Innovation (CTLI) at North Island College has four areas of support for instructors:

Teaching and learning practices & pedagogies
Integration and appropriate use of learning technologies and online course design
Program review and quality assurance activities
Evidence-gathering and scholarly teaching activities to advance practice

Brightspace Resources are found under Learning Technologies > Brightspace which include videos, step-by-step instructions etc.

About Site
